Dascarnil Worm Powder

Each gram contains:
Piperazine citrate BP equivalent to 0.35 gm of piperazine.

Effective against ascarid and oxyurid worms, and is also active against some hookworms and roundworms e.g. Oesophagostomum and Strongylus.

Dosage

Give as a one day treatment.
The preparation for poultry can be kept for 2 days.
Pigs, Horses and Cattle: 1-2 gms per 10 kg body weight.

Poultry: 1 gm per 1 litre of drinking water.
Poultry: Dissolve the entire contents of the sachet (30gms) in sufficient quantity of water (20-30 litres) per 100 birds or one and a half teaspoonfuls in 3-5 litres of water per 15 birds.

Cattle: Dissolve contents of 1 sachet in half litre of water and give as a drench.
Withdrawal period from the last day of treatment:
Meat and Eggs: 2 days
Milk: 1 day
